Guided Upland Hunts

There is no substitute for wild birds and it is our mission to go find them.  During this season we cater to two sets of clients; Those who have had dogs in training and hunters looking to experience hunting wild birds over pointing dogs. Guided hunts are where the summer training culminates with real experience for the dog, the owner, and/or hunting client in the pursuit of wild game.  We travel extensively and cover an immense amount of territory.

What to Expect

A guided hunt with APDC is straightforward:

  • Small groups

  • Thoughtful pacing

  • Strategic cover selection

  • Dog work prioritized

  • Safety emphasized

We hunt with purpose, not pressure.

Days are tailored to the terrain, weather, bird movement, and the experience level of the hunters. Some days are fast. Some are deliberate. All are honest.

Locations & Schedule

We guide in select regions known for strong wild bird populations and authentic upland habitat.
